Starting the Day at Etsy's Headquarters
Our day began at Etsy’s bustling headquarters in Brooklyn. The space was vibrant and full of energy, but it also presented a challenge: the noise level was quite high. To ensure crystal-clear audio, we employed our new super cardioid microphone and advanced noise suppression technology. This setup allowed us to eliminate the loud background noise and focus on capturing Josh's voice with pristine clarity.
Achieving the Perfect Look
Etsy's vision for the shoot was a natural, not overly lit appearance. To achieve this, we opted for a double soft light setup with a 35-degree grid. This approach provided soft, flattering lighting that enhanced the natural ambiance of the space. The result? A beautifully lit shot that highlighted Josh Silverman in the best possible way.
The Magic of Post-Production
Once the shoot was wrapped, we handed off the footage to our talented editor, Phil. With his keen eye for detail, Phil worked his magic by coloring the video and seamlessly integrating B-roll footage from previous Etsy projects we've done. His expertise ensured a cohesive and visually appealing final product.
